All the cars were out yesterday except the #98 Aston Martin which is currently parked in the garage as Paul Della Lana the privateer and money behind the car had a skiing accident and can't drive which means the car cannot race in the Rolex 24 because he is also the Bronze driver!
I would photos directly except not wishing to boast but mine are all too big at around 11MB each!

Eurosport used to cover it, but not this year. There is an IMSA live stream but looks as though you need to be in the US with an NBC Live Gold subscription to view it. Similarly with the Monte, BT Sport only, I kicked BT into touch years ago.
OK, only 3 weeks until F1 testing and a week until the 6 Nations Rugby but a little motor sport fix this dull grey weekend would have helped, although the sight of a mid-engined Corvette might have upset my historical values...

You can't sandbag too much. the people involved use tons of data to get round it.
From what I heard during hours of coverage.
the 911 was 1280 kilos, 10 added after the Roar SO maybe that 10 should not have been added.
the M8 was 1240 I think or lighter.
Calado was moaning all race about the 488 being too slow, but they were still only 16 seconds off the lead when he punctured, and then quit throwing his toys out the pram.
What that meant was the 911 was better on brakes, infield, the M8 had more acceleration and slightly better speed. but wore its tyres more.
What they did do was conserve fuel well and pull out a huge lead last pitstop, and 911 got it wrong. If not for that it would have been as close as it has been.
