You have the love the Americans though, a bit of a bonkers niche race series but it's a "World Championship" I suppose it's no different from the world series in baseball though.

Been around for a while. They used them in the ROC a few years ago as well which was a right laugh seeing F1 drivers getting to grips with them.

A friend of mine raced one in the US at one event. He said it took a while for the brain to be convinced that hitting the ramps at full power was ok.
