Been a good few decades since i was last at Silverstone, and now that we are living 15 minutes away (on a normal weekend ..... ) am looking at getting some tickets for teh F1, but what are the good grandstands for Family Spectating on the Sunday? (or alternatively, what grandstands should be avoided?)

Cheers.

Woodcote A has better views than B, which annoys me when they only open B for smaller meetings.

I'd go for Becketts , higher up and the Chapel end for good views of a fair portion of the circuit

Copse is good because you get to see the cars at full chat through a very fast series of bends. I was in Village for the GP last year and you get pretty close to the cars and a great view of them and although they are a slow couple of corners you get a decent view of them coming along the preceding straight.

'Pretty Close ' means, as it is Silverstone we are talking about , that the cars nearest to you are at least in the same postcode....

Well depends how many decades we’re talking but sadly the canvas grandstand seats are no more!
