Can someone give me advice as a new spectator?

Hey guys, I have been a fan of racing here in US for a while. Mainly going to local dirt tracks to watch modified stock cars and catching highlights from NASCAR. However, I am into gaming and recently decided to get a simulation wheel and Gran Turismo Sport. Since doing this, I’ve played it everyday and have become familiar with the tracks and the general format of GT racing. Through this interest, I find myself looking at a lot of highlights from various series like the Supercar Championship out of Australia or Japan’s Super GT, as they have some of the tracks I know.
So, for the meaning of this post, I’m done watching highlights. I would like some help from you veterans on 1. Some good series to follow (easy for someone in the states) 2. How to “follow” it (where to watch, what site to keep up with) 3. Any other general/helpful information (maybe your favorite driver or another good subreddit).
I appreciate any guidance, racing outside of NASCAR isn’t big here, so I don’t who to ask but you all https://akinator.ooo/https://xender.vip/https://testmyspeed.onl/

Internationally F1 (f1.com) and the World Endurance Champsionship (WEC/ Le Mans) series would be the easiest to follow. If you want bikes, MotoGP or World Superbikes are similar. The World rally championship if you want to see cars screaming through forests, not on circuit.
Blancpain and Lamborghini SUPER TROFEO are international series, as is Formula 2 and to a lesser extent Formula 3, are all international.
Beyond that theres a whole host of national series, ranging from BTCC in the UK and its slightly bigger brother DTM in germany, or distant cousin, V8 saloons in Australia.
Lower down the pecking order theres a whole world of national motorsport, 750MC, MSVR, BARC, HSCC, VSCC etc in the UK, though the odds of following/watching them live are probably low....they can on the other hand provide very good racing.

www.imsa.tv is in the states and is mixed class racing. Free to view and they may have a race near you at some point so you can see it for real.
If you get yourself a VPN, search for ITV4 and catch the BTCC series. The weekends it runs, they broadcast the whole day including the support races so you get a mix of saloons, GTs and open-wheeled single seat stuff. This is all live so will be breakfast / morning viewing for you!
Subscribe to Autosport and you get access to race highlights on You Tube on a whole variety of series from around the world.
If you have the means, get yourself to the UK over the summer or autumn. Land at any of the main airports and you're no more than an hour away from any of the major circuits and they'll always be something on somewhere worth watching.

Try some bike racing, supercross is huge, outdoor motocros too is big.
Long track flat track racing, drag racing, all good to attend.
Maybe a few off road events like LORR or Baja.
Dont juts limit yourself to circuit racing, there are loads of things to watch if you look further afield.
Not to mention the immense short track and pavement series running pretty much everywhere in the US

The big one on Let's Go Racing is SuperGT, those are fantastic. Mixed class racing with constant passing and traffic. So, for the meaning of this post, I’m done watching highlights.
