Although Spike (another arm of Channel 5) has WRC highlights listed on the 18th of February.

Not sure if it's available in the uk but you could also try https://plus.wrc.com/en/highlights/relive/

Personally I would simply type this in youtube. Swedish rally, amateur footage, you will get a far better idea!!

Red Bull's online coverage is pretty good.

As said RBTV daily highlight coverage is ok but in general UK motorsport Terrestrial TV coverage has become a bit of a joke with the promotors only interested in the money, how is interest in any sport expected to grow without making it available to as wide an audience as possible

Is there a market for WRC highlights on terrestrial TV in the UK?? The viewing figures have been pretty low for a number of years - and has resulted in the highlights moving from Ch4, ITV, ITV4, Dave, ITV4, Channel5......there is a pattern here.

And there hasn't been an outpouring of outrage from UK WRC fans about no terrestrial highlights.....so one concludes that nobody is that concerned.

Saying that, how is any young up and coming British driver able to get any sponsorship/ backing when there is no free to air TV coverage?? Despite all the increased coverage, from BT Sport/ RedBullTV; free to air TV is still pretty important for growing interest.

I guess the lack of public outpouring is probably due to the fact that. Those that watch terrestrial tv don’t use social media or forums like this. Personally I know a few folk that have been interested in many forms of motorsport for maybe 50yrs but have now been cast aside by traditional broadcasting or lack thereoff

I think that Redbull coverage is better than what was served up as highlights by Ch5 or motorsTV. even if Miko Hirvanen is a little wooden, he'll probably get better over time (anyone remember Gary Linekars 1st Match of the day show? -thunderbird puppet didn't cover it)

Channel 5Spike has highlights listed for next Monday at 7pm. Not sure if it’ll be Monte or Sweden though.
