good GT race at donningotn, but dissapointing
Discussion
good race, an absolutley amazing drive from rob barff in the spd 12, kept with the sallen for ages, and was leading for a few lasp untill it was realied in by the lister and TVR after the pit stop, but tradegy for short/pullan, i was gutted, truly gutted, i saw when the car pulled of the track, great great shame, and excellent drive by pullan and short, good drive also from watkins/watson in the viper, gutted to see veloux win the chapionship with jamie davies, i really dont like veloux, they issued team orders in the race. and on the cool down lap, i watched the TVR dissapear into the pit lane for perhaps the last time.
I was totally gutted when the TVR stopped on circuit . The final race of the year had the promise of a good race, (esp. after the BS from the btcc) and didn't fail to deliver. An overall win for the Lister boys, and good to see them leave the series on a win. The Brit GTs won't be the same without them
Calum deserved the title for the amount of work he put into the team. I thought Tim was going to catch the Ferrari, but unfortunately it was not to be.

Anyone still trying to get out the car park? What a complete shambles, I ended up giving up and was lucky enough to meet a fellow PHer waiting for the ques to move,
Finally made it out, left about 10 mins after you. Not all wasted time because I enjoyed the chat. Universal excuse for a natter the Pistonheads sticker . Planning on doing the last Tuscan race on 6th Oct so will look out for you.
Didn't spot you, were we not back when you were queueing? All the numpties trying to escape across the grass didn't help as they only have to join the queue at the exit, hopefully it'll be back to normal on the 5th/6th for the Tuscans, I don't think the FIA GT's/Euro Tourers have been pulling the same kind of crowds.

yeah, i saw your TVR, you were parked on the other side about 20 cars away, we were queing for 1 hour, then we decided to go left of on to another track which was much quicker, didnt see your go-ped!

After going on Saturday I decided it was too busy to have me out of control at 20mph
I'd have thought you'd have been quicker getting home on the go-ped

we spent most of the day in the DPRAC 'grandstand' anyway.
I must admit I've laughed at the 'grandstand' since they moved it. But at least you had somewhere to sit down without having to buy a 'finger trapping' chair, whilst getting sand blasted, and being moved on by security ape because "this is Vauxhalls corporate area".
Thank you Donnington.
The one think I hate almost as much as all the extra people, are the hospitality tents, usually empty and always in the way, the Porsche 'tent' on the inside of Redgate even had it's own grandstand, (pointing the wrong way ) just a shame there was no one in it But it blocked a good part of the track to stand and watch with no chicken wire in front of you.
Anyway got Tasmins at Mallory to look forward to on Sunday, anyone going?

Just uploaded piccies and text to www.tvrcc-bristol.co.uk
Some of them came out OK.
Brilliant weekend despite bitterly cold wind on Sunday
Must of only seen about half a dozen other TVRs. Where was everybody, were they all at Virginia Waters?
