I drove to Berlin for new year last year and, as I approached the city, I glanced at the SatNav and realised it said "Avus" at the bottom of the screen. Looking across the road were these very same grandstands. I always find it a bit weird being at old Grand Prix circuits.

The control tower is now a hotel:
