Up there Saturday - weather looks really good - looking forward to a whole day taking pics, with the free WEC pit walk at the end of the day.

I’ll probably go up on Sunday. It’ll make a nice change not having to dress like an arctic explorer for once!

I'll be there for Saturday and Sunday dragging a 7 year old off the rides and trying to concentrate on the race!
As for the weather, it always rains at Le Mans (and its always wet and windy at Silverstone!)

A friend and I are there for both Sat & Sunday, via a detour for a Hyundai N experience at Milbrook on the Sat morning.

Any of you guys know a good webchannel with updates of qualifying and suchlike?

Went yesterday - makes a change to get sunburn at Silverstone instead of frostbite!

Good day out for a tenner.

Yep heading there for tomorrow.

Will check into SRC between Luffield/Woodcote for decent food/tea/ viewing facilities at some point. Always worth the £15/20.

Like many others, i left half way through. Watching the Toyota's lap all the other cars took the fun out of it and the rest of the classes were processional.
You couldn't hear the tannoy announcements so had little idea what was going on unless you were near one of the few large screens.

Was there no radio le mans coverage? It's invaluable at the 24hr. I watched the race this afternoon on bt sport on/off as I was busy doing other stuff but I enjoyed what I watched.

They were sort of at VIR covering what turned out to be a thrilling Gt kind of sprint race, top 3 covered by chuff all in both classes.

The RLM/RS Ltd team were providing the commentary over the tannoy and FM radio. I watched the start from the main Wing pit straight and the public speakers were turned off for a large part of the build up for some reason.

You can clearly hear the tannoy once you are out in the wild but in the stands it is drowned out by passing cars.
