Last Race in TVR for Short?

After a false start in February when Martin Short almost raced in a Mosler at Daytona, he's renewed his acquaintance with the car and it will appear at Donington for the last race of the season.

Likely to be running next year in place of his Tuscan R, Short also plans to race the car in the Bathurst 24 hour race in Australia.

The debut at Donington won't interfere with Short's attempt on the GTO title. The Mosler will be run by Stuart Parker and his team and driven by Mark Pashley and another driver yet to be named.

Hi Dominiek, you are taking over the Tuscan then ? Good luck to Martin with the Mosler. That should be a fine endurance car. Also, all the best for this coming weekend, go and get it !!!

I wish him well, too, though it also feels sadly like one's favourite player is leaving the team.

Nice to think it wouldn't necessarily be the last, but TVR will probably (typically ?) cut their own throat and not allow the person with the most building/racing experience with their product to be a part of any future plans.

....as a "Short-legacy" though, any TuscanR buyers are going to have one hell of a car - far better than it would have been.
