Blistering pole from Matt Neal this afternoon! There's life in the old dog yet. Turks not far behind though.

Should be a good day's racing tomorrow.

Looking forward to another day of watching Btcc at Thruxton tomorrow. Especially with the sunny forecast all day!

Yes, should be another great day's racing - lots to watch for all the way through the grid. Be interesting to see if the BMWs can remain strong through the race distance.

I think someone might be askeding questions about how fast Neals car is, it's just pulling away on the straights, Turkington is having to make it all up on the bends

I don’t think it’s the Honda, the BM’s were dog slow in a straight line at Donington as well.

We did at least find Plato in that race though, hiding in the pits making it 7 races and 0 points

Pretty poor race imo. Tyre degradation on the front wheel drive cars seems quite low.

Cook's win shouldn't stand, he might have been avoiding contact but he still took advantage by passing and pulling away.

Agreed here also, I'd be very surprised if his win was allowed to stand.

It's daft really from his part, had he given the place back I don't think it would have been long before he went back past legitimately and would probably have gone on to win anyway given his pace.

Have the Astras had their boost turned up, Turkington and Morgan both had a run on them coming out of the chicane and couldn't get along side on the straight.

Watching the replay again for the 3rd time Jorden had a big oversteer into the chicane which pushed Cook off line to avoid the sliding BMW, which then took the line leaving Cook no where to go, we'd need to see the incar from Cook.

But if it stands then anyone can go on the outside side by side into the chicane knowing all you have to do is run off the track to avoid the possible contact that is only going to occur because you are creating it by going side by side, cut the chicane and get ahead of them. Easy pass.

Ouch, that Clio crash yikes

Not impressed re the officials, total confusion at the start with waved double yellows yet the lights go as normal & that should have been a straight red flag, Shirley?

So Cook got away with it, now everyone can do it at the chicane

Is this going to be just mechanical or the beginning of the end for him at BMR? 9 races and 0 points and probably still counting has got to start causing friction soon?

The Subaru's seem hopeless, are they still getting to grips with the engine or have the competition moved on ?
