Just seen GT on 4! from oulton
Discussion
Having seen the footage myself, I'm not confinced that this is because of a steamed up windscreen (Ferrari/TVR smash).
I mentioned in my earlier post that we had to slow down when we approached in the rescue unit as we could hardly see a thing. The shot from inside the Ferrari hopefully backs up what I said - that's about all we could see too.
The strange thing is, when you look at the video at our approach, the visibility looked fine and we appeared to be going at a reasonable rate. My feeble brain can't figure out why that should be.
It was a pretty tense time for us as we had been scrambled. When this happens, we have to get to an incident within 90 seconds. We know that there is something bad out there - possibly with injuries - so we don't hang about. That one was tense as we had to slow down so that we didn't crash into the incident we had been scrambled to.
Ah well, that's just the sad life that some of us lead
Cheers for now
