Discussion
So this weekend sees the BTCC circus roll into Oulton Park.

Qualifying is on Saturday at 15:50, that will be streamed live here:
http://www.itv.com/btcc/qualifying-live
Race action on Sunday, ITV4 live from 11:15 until 6:00, your 3 Sunday BTCC race times:
Race 1: 12:17
Race 2: 14:52
Race 3: 17:02
In between those we have races for all the usual support championships, the final Ginetta Junior race is after the last touring car action so ITV4 may not show that one (Boooo!).
Weather could play a big part, currently looking changeable for Saturday but Sunday clear, obviously early days yet:

Championship standings after Thruxton, Tom Ingram leads by 17 points from Gordon Shedden:

Looking forward to watching this one, other than Donington I have missed the other rounds. It will be interesting to see if the Subarus have improved pace, this was the turning point last year. The BMWs are bound to show strongly as well going on last years results. Would like to see Josh Cook get some more good results in that Focus, punching above it's weight in the other rounds I felt.
Thinking of going next year if anyone has any tips as well

Sutton certainly showed Plato how to drive that Subaru. I'm sure we'll hear the same old excuses from Jason soon though.
He was already complaining on Twitter earlier this week about the engine equalization - presumably they wouldn't let him have more boost than the rest of the grid.

Obviously you didn't see the intro bit about Jason driving with a bent car since the brands hatch crash......He was already complaining on Twitter earlier this week about the engine equalization - presumably they wouldn't let him have more boost than the rest of the grid.

Nope, didn't.. Presumably it's straight now though? He didn't seem to make any progress in race one.
what I took from the interview is they're still not sure if the problem is sorted. Realistically they should have scrapped the chassis but can't afford to. They have probably binned the front sub frame after thruxton but still not working properly yetLet's put it like this, you don't go from winning races to being outide the points in a few months unless there's a problem especially when your teammate is on the podium. Plato is no mug
Caroline seems to me to try too hard sometimes - he's immensely talented, but he needs to accept when he's having a bad race. Was like that in Ginetta Junior as well. When things go badly, he starts going off the track and having unneccessary contact incidents. Needs to calm himself down if he wants to make the big leagues.
