FIA Seats

What FIA seats are you using. mine has run out of date and I need to get another so was wondering what seats fit in the Tuscan and what are you using and think of them.

Got a tillet going in mine. B6 Grp Fia approved nice and light

Dom Mooney can supply them as he has an agency deal with them

How has the winter been treating you. and car ?

Hi Perry,
It's been a long winter...can't wait to get going again. Engine has had a rebuild. Running it in on friday ahead of Brands GP with Bernie's on monday.
Really looking forward to it. Are you doing any DTEC this season?

Yes I was going to do Brands GP . I did it last year it was fantastic, I won my class so that always helps. Contrary to what I was told back in January my car is not eligible for Bernies V8's so I will only be doing the Castle Combe round with Dtec, was hoping to do a few for a change but as it happens that's not to be ....oh well there's always Spa to look forward to..................

Re: Bernies V8s. I imagine it would be the wing/aero making it ineligible. However given that dtec and bernies have combined this year you will be able to enter as part of dtec!? Sadly we can't make it, though its a 45 car hrid with bits of everything out!! FIA MGBs (4cyl) too so you should be OK on an entry...

Hi Dave

I was told by John in jan that all combined rounds would run under Bernies jurisdiction but Dtec regs. When I came to enter a month or so ago . I was told I couldn't because in the event it is run by 750mc and Bernies regs. My car was not excepted by Bernie so no entry for me. I could have entered the Rover but I prefer " Future Classic's " with that car.

yep, we already run one in the mgb for the 6hr and the 3 hr

Perry, I thought that all DTEC were allowed to run in Bernie's?! A shame if not...would be good to see you other than at Spa!

I was told that by john back in January but that is not the case as it turns out. it's just bernies V8's which as you know we can run in anyway.

Hmmm... Yhis one is almost like an allcomers from the entry list!! Like I said there are 4xyl MGBs and all sorts on the entry list I got! If you really wanna do it give Giles a ring direct tomorrow and see what he says? I was told from Bernie that all dtec csrs could enter as long as on list1b tyres...??
