So far no news on any developements on the wheel situation so I would assume so
The latest news is this:RML are investigating an increased torque – it is believed that 800Nm is safe – some teams currently using 700+. RML are investigating changing the washer to a Bellville type. New wheel securing clips are being introduced at Donington.
Some of the teams have asked if they can go back to the old specification hubs. RML do not believe this to be beneficial (!) but TOCA are considering this.
In the longer term, RML are to look at the design of the front hubs, etc, and make a proposal for a long term solution.
Will be at Donington and watching with interest.
Good luck with the traffic for those tryiing to get to DP in person.
M1 J23-J25 -roadworks and 50 mph limit, often at a stand still.
A453 parallel to the motorway at J23a-J24 - down to single lane traffic in both directions. Often at a stand still.
Long tailbacks past the airport and through Castle Donington village.
Watch it in TV instead!

Over boost infringement on Suttons car
Shame the Subarus will be at the back again!
Is it just this so called cog "adjustment" which is causing them so many woes? Seems like more of a penalty than to even the playing field.
I was also wondering why the majority of cars are all 5 doors? I assumed it must've been part of the rules but the BMWs are 3dr and look all the better for it! The Astra would've looked better in 3dr form too

Shame the Subarus will be at the back again!

Shame for Sutton, but it certainly explains why he was suddenly able to blow everyone else's doors off! Still, good to see so many of the new generation of drivers at the sharp end of the grid. Be interesting to see the effect of the rain if it comes, though - might be a good time to be a more experienced driver at that point.

I think the cog adjustment was made by raising the ride height, which has likely caused more issues than simply having a higher centre of gravity. The whole car was probably developed around the regular ride height + cog before it ever turned a wheel so it won't be a quick fix, if there is a fix. If they continue to under perform they'll get a boost "adjustment" later in the year. The Levorg is only in the championship because it fit through some loopholes which are now being closed, I think they should have expected that to happen.

As for the door question:

2, 3, 4 or 5 door of a minimum 4.4m length (2 or 3 door cars must share the same basic body profile as the 4/5 door model)

I think the idea was to go back to the "family saloons turned racing cars" of earlier years rather than have things like the Integra and Astra Coupes.
This new addition to the rules made me chuckle.

I'm not sure I can see many drivers doing that. Especially not the Dynamics team after carrying out the usual punt the car in front up the rear and run them out wide technique
