Formula e Monaco - any timetables or info?
Discussion
Well, usually (so far in the Season 3) the Saturday/Race day has been scheduled as follows (all times are local):
8:00 - 8:45 Non Qualifying Practice 1
10:30 - 11:00 Non Qualifying Practice 2
12:00 - 12:06 Qualifying Group 1
12:10 - 12:16 Qualifying Group 2
12:20 - 12:26 Qualifying Group 3
12:30 - 12:36 Qualifying Group 4
12:45 - 13:00 Super Pole
16:04 Race
I believe the Monaco race day would be run by the same timings.
Down't know about the support races yet.
Hope that helps

Thanks for the fast replies, so it's all done inside a day then. I haven't really followed an FE race day properly before but it just happens the timings work nicely, and the lack of noise makes it more child-friendly. I went to the Classic last year which was pretty loud to say the least and with 6 week old that's not ideal! Hopefully my 4 year old will be more into it than he was last year too.
Well we went, and it was an interesting day out. I've not been to the full F1 race in Monaco but went to the Classic last year. The crowds were way smaller, everyone got a seat on the train in from Nice and there were outside tables available at most restaurants. It was €20 for a grandstand seat and as you can see from the pic below there was a lot of space - certainly less than half full.

The cars do look slow too, and it's a bit strange to not have any real noise but there were plenty of big screens and it was easy to hear the commentary and keep up with what was going on. With kids it was a great day out though - we could see right into the garages from our seats, the fan village had a few things to keep them entertained and my son liked the idea of seeing 'electric racing cars'. I also really like Monaco, so it was a good opportunity to combine a nice day out with a little bit of motorsport. Would I go again? Probably, assuming the same scenario of good weather and kids in tow but the cars have a long way to go before the racing becomes properly exciting to watch. I could sit and look at some of these views all day though...
