Hill Climb Meetings in Norfolk

More sprints than hillclimbs (not any in fact) but AEMC have a comprehensive calendar including plenty of events:

Shelsley is about 3:30 on a good day from Diss if that helps.
Do remember though that I know the roads from J5 of the M5 to the foot of the hill better than most and they have had quite a few now restrictions put on them since the last time I had to do it 'with gusto'.
That said if i were going to spend more than an hour going to any hillclimb it would be there. There is something special about Shelsley - it's a feeling that you don't get anywhere else, even Sillystone, Goodwood or Brooklands. Closest would be standing on the inside of the Masta Kink at twilight without any cars in view and imagining or doing the same on the banking at Monza.

Thanks guys, I'd love to do a hillclimb or two, but the sprints sound like good fun too... I have a reasonably well sorted TVR, have done a number of track days, and even taken up her up the quarter mile strip at Santa Pod
As a yoof I had a Lotus 7 and some of the best fun was giving it max welly up very steep twisty roads.. when there was no other traffic about... Guess I just want to relive some of my youth...

We've just come back from Prescott (to Stowmarket and Ipswich) , took us 4 1/2 hours, but that was in an old motorhome towing the car in a box trailer. When I've travelled separately, it's taken around 2 1/2 hours depending on traffic. Usually though, I'm leaving first thing in the morning, so the roads are empty.
I certainly agree with the above sentiments about Shelsley Walsh, with Prescott almost matching it for history, and probably beating it a little for scenery and atmosphere.
They hold sprints at places like Bentwaters, woodbridge and North Weald, and I would recommend starting off in sprinting to get a feel for the car with much less chance of damage should you get it wrong.
The one common thing is,everyone is very friendly and willing to chat and give advice.
