Has anyone else got an Ifor Williams trailer? I have a CT136 HD twin wheel transporter.

However, I'm having a problem in that the ramps keep coming loose when travelling, they turn round & the channel slides under a pair of locating rubber mounts & then the No.Plate panel swings up & locks in place. Problem is that the ramps work there way forward & the rear drops down???
Something can't be right?

Like this? Looks to me as if they are confined by a crossbeam at the front and the Number plate board at the back.
So the way that the plate board latches is the problem.

Temporary fix - long bungies, board to the raer axle?
Then, actual door bolts from the board to brackets on the inner edges of the wheel trays?

On my Brian James trailer, the ramps slide under the wheel trays, and are retained by bolts in that way.

Hi, Thanks, yes exactly like that. The edge channel slides under a pair of locating studs which stops them going sideways & as you say, the No. plate panel stops them going backwards. There is however nothing to stop them sliding forwards, I think there should be.
Temp measure for me has been to tie them back in place, |I've already had them fall out in transit !!

That would work but having just bought the trailer new I don't think that should be required!
Turns out they have missed off fitting the vital stops!

If I had bought it new, I would have asked the vendor first, not PistonHeads!
Hope you get it sorted.
