Peskey belt buckles
Discussion
It is very quite on here, but I thought someone might still be up
. On the shoulder strap 3" wide buckle no matter what I do it is still very stiff to open up , no problem sliding it down tight. I was watching a pit stop at Bathhurst that Wincup did and his shoulder buckle just slid up with no effort on the way out. Looking at TRS site they do a quicker release buckle for an extra £25.00. Does anybody have any little tips I can try or had the supposedly extra slippy buckle to tell if it was better. I was thinking slathering candle wax on the belts themselves to see if that helped.

I have TRS Belts in my Radical and because they were so good, I also fitted them to my Clio. The Radical has black adjusters and they work beautifully when tightening or loosening. They look like they are anodised aluminium. The belts I bought for the Clio have steel adjusters and they tighten up just as easily as the ones in the Radical, but they are almost impossible to loosen until the buckle is released.
I guess that the answer is to pay extra for the lightweight adjusters :-)
