Stolen Car Trailer
Discussion
Hi All
Unfortunately our car trailer was stolen overnight on 4/5th January 2016 from Fawkham, near Brands Hatch Kent. The very determined thieves broke off a lock on a farmers field, smashed through a hedge then drove up through a muddy horse field, breaking another lock on second gate then driving along to a rented barn, where they smashed off another lock on barn door to get trailer out. After hitching up they drove out on main service road finally ramming another set of gates.
I would appreciate it if you could keep an eye out for it....
It is a twin axle tilt bed Brian James trailer with winch and an additional high level tyre / wheel rack. We only bought it last year and had fitted brand new GT radial tyres to all four wheels and spare, with a new cover on the spare.
We had also replaced the centre board with brand new quality buffalo board. The winch had a new handle and we had fitted reflective tape on mud guards (white to front / red to rear).
The serial number is BJT98-5955. This was on vin plate but not stamped.
It was also fitted with Datatag trailer marking system serial number 7DAA58.
It was reported stolen to Kent Police ref YY/346/16.
Any information greatly received!
