GT Shake-up Needed
The British GT series can't attract a sponsor, gets small crowds yet features some thrilling racing - what's going on?
Discussion
Having been involved in sponsoring a number of race weekends and cars I have found the general attitude is to get your money and run. Or in one instance not run (the car that is). To attract the hard erned cash of sponsors you have to make the experience fun and painless, catering facilities need to be more attractive to a family, toilets that are clean and have hot water!. If you were going to take some clients along to a race day you would want to create an impression that meant their day was memorable for the right reasons, as you would want to get business in the future which in turn could be spent on race day's and so on and so on. Spectators are what it's about so give them a clean, dry and reasonably priced day out and they will what to come back.
