No.... Because someone comes on who I ant heard of and says so ....
Yeah, and coz he's from the "deep sarth"
Seriously though, people involved in all sorts of TVR racing come on here anyway, so, (unless or until I get a free set of slicks from Dunlop), it is fitting to change the forum heading to TVR Motorsport. Important to support everybody involved in racing TVR's, regardless what series or form it takes.
Leave it as it is. The Dunlop Tuscan Challenge is unique but the forum does not discriminate against any forms of TVR motorsport and welcomes any posts about any aspect of it.
I tend to agree with Bill (with due respect to Andy) - as Nigel Farage said to Herman Van Rumpuy when he became President of the European Union Council..."who are you?" (not a low-grade bank clerk, I presume).

The forum was set up for the drivers ,it's part of our history and in general most topics are connected with the Challenge I.e
Keeping in touch with other challenge racers , parts , on board race videos , spare tickets , pre race talk .. Who's in and who,s not , shareing garages , testing, helping one or another to get their cars out , keeping us all motivated for the next season , organising paddock bbqs and test days out .i for one am proud to be part of the Challenge and "our forum"
If things change in the future and our series deminishes then a name change may be right . But at the moment we've got the biggest grids since back in the day and a lot more than some series even F1 lol

I am fairly certain that a lot of people that run TVR's or have and interesting TVR's in Motorsport just do not look at this forum due to the title.
How many of you get cash from Dunlop!! and The series the forum is named after allows any TVR to run in it.
Like a few have said there are a lot of TVR's out in various branches of Motorsport, let get all of those involved.
It is like the Major Mods section - virtually no ones goes there, as not many people in TVR land want to do those sort of high level mod to their cars....
But a lot of TVR people whether they race or not would like to know about and contribute to a forum about TVR's in Motorsport.
Just a few examples or Non-Tuscan Challenge stuff (still very interesting!):-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLlFaMBU-vE - Spa 6 Qualy in Fastest Griff
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8vjgmQ4aNs The Bonker ex-Rollcentre(?) Cerb
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1IWYlV0UDY&li... - OLD cars at it (check that Griff)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeJhfhEOWKM Grantura at the Revival in the Fordwater Trophy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcmBIp673ms&li... - Getting used to New Toy.
Pretty sure I can get lots of interesting stuff on The Tuscan Series early days if anyone wants (mate is Gerry M's son) too.
But all said lots of interesting TVR Motorsport stuff out there that is just not getting heard about on here.

Bill - if I recall correctly the forum was originally called the TVR Tuscan Challenge - and it was set up at a time when PH was TVR centric and the spectator base for the championship was huge. There were significantly more spectators/enthusiasts on the forum than there were drivers, though there were a few drivers who came on here and mainly took the pee out of each other.Keeping in touch with other challenge racers , parts , on board race videos , spare tickets , pre race talk .. Sometime after TVR withdrew from motorsport at the end of 2004, the name change to the Dunlop Tuscan Challenge.
The TVR Car Club Challenge was running at the same time - I can't recall if it had its own forum which was merged when the two series were merged in around 2006?
Things do evolve and have done so already - this forum is used very differently to how it was back in 2002, 2003...

As I said previously any contributions about TVR racing worldwide are, of course, welcome but the forum name is historically symbolic and focussed and there's no shortage of topics or comment about the Championship being posted. Changing it to a "one size fits all" title would be a dilution and diminishment in itself.
That said, anybody is free to start another TVR forum if it matters to them that much. How about "Not the Dunlop Tuscan Challenge". LOL.
