I think the result at Rockingham was an inaccurate reflection of the situation. With the Lister retiring so early in the race, and the problems encountered by the Speed 12, the Saleens were made to look far more comfortable in their one-two finish than their true pace would warrant. If you look at the speed trap figures the Saleens were actually slower than the Jones Porsche and the Tuscan R - and both of those are GTO cars.
When you've got so few runners in the class it only takes a small handful of retirements or problems from the leading contenders to throw up a result that can be misinterpreted. I'd prefer to wait and see. I suspect the balance is far closer than you think.

The GT's may have been dull, but the other races were excellent, good to see the guy who rolled the F3 car in the 1st race was ok, and Rockingham as a venue is excellent, complete views of the whole circuit from just about any seat, 1st class venue, colud it hold an F1 race?

At the end of the day it just wasn't very entertaining. I sat there poised to take notes for about 20 minutes during the latter part of the race and there was little worthy of mention.
