how did they do the points then? ie did they give all the meetings points for the one race?

Nick.

I've assumed nothing different, i.e. normal points for the first race and no points for the missed race. I'm just checking now to be sure.

They gave Jay the Cup for the main race win which seemed strange at the time, as I'am fairly sure that the race will have to be run at another meeting. Points should only be awarded for the first race on the normal 1/3 basis, no doubt things will become clear over the next few days, Jay wants to gain his points on merit and not by default.

thats fair enough Rod. I dont blame him, an he looks a good enough driver to give guges a run for his money.

The missed race will be re-run, so Jay will get a chance to make up some good points for the ones he's lost on DNFs.

It wasn't just Wayne way ahead, everybody was!!!!! couldn't understand why my car was so undrivable unlike others, my set up was fine, but it was a pig on ice skates under braking. Found out after the race that for some wierd reason my brake bias was 8 full turns to the rear, it was like driving a car with the handbrake full on. Having said that, I was driving like a total numpty anyway, but the brake issue didn't help.
