Not sure what gates will be open for spectators though.
Anyone know how to find this out? The entrance pictured above would be very handy for us
I will ask SRO and get back tomorrow morning! smile

Anyone who was down for jackets and baseball caps who has not yet received them, if you are going to Donnington Park this weekend you can pick them up from the Neon Street stand.

Just ask for Phil.

OK, not quite the morning! biggrin

Coppice is open if you have booked tickets for it.

If you need an emergency ticket I will see what I can do!

Not seen anyone else in them mind.

Been a great day so far with surprisingly good weather. Not looking so good for tomorrow but at least I have a nice new coat to keep the worst off!
Great to hear mate!

We had over a thousand PHers going originally, but CV19 has royally buggered it up. rolleyes

We picked ours up at a similar time....hiked to the middle and back, just in time for a post-qualifying snap & a fabulous biscoff ice-cream before he drove away!
Gratuitous publicity shot hehe

Thanks Julian!
No problem Mike

Glad you had a good day yesterday and I hope the drizzle clears up quickly for today.

I might see you if I can get there myself today, but if not I will be at Donington 2 anyway, as I am being interviewed for the TV coverage at that one, so if you want to return I'll see you then!

Cool photo! biggrin

Cheers

It certainly looks a bit misty there but seems like you've got a good viewing point.

Have you considered being a model. You're showing off that jacket very nicely.

I reckon Julian should pay you for modelling it.biggrin
I am just trying to work out how bloody tall he is! rofl

I've now finished watching the second race. That was even more exciting than the first race due to weather conditions but I will so no more so as not to spoil it.

Great to see prominence of IntelligentMoney logos in the sponsorship.
Cheers mate! smile

Hi there,

Really enjoying the 2020 season so far. Some great racing.

I have uploaded my gallery from Oulton Park which can be found here :-

https://www.dunlopix.co.uk/British-GT-Championship...

I have another to do from Donington Park which I hope will be online later this week. I will share the link when done.

Regards

Tim

That Kelvin is built like a brick sthouse.

Proper petrol head as well.
Hello mate

He seriously is!

Also just a really nice normal bloke who hasn't let his celebrity status go to his head in the slightest.

In further news, another PHer and myself are soon to announce some more grass roots racing with a new team, Intelligent Money Racing! smile

The bigger stuff is great, but this is just as exciting and even more involving.

All I can say now is that the car will be a Porsche, but much more to follow as we get prepared for the 2021 season!

I want to build this up and just like the GT Championship I will be behind this all the way.

Obviously life is not complete until you have your own racing team, but even this comes with problems - as my wife has just put my chequebook in the shredder! biggrin

Ah, so we now find out it's not buying Williams, and contracting Porsche for the engines either.........
rofl

Funnily enough, after it was announced I was sponsoring the British GT I had a call from someone about sponsoring Williams in the F1 this year (which I wasn't really interested in)!

I am more interested in supporting grass roots racing (not that the British GT is quite grass roots!).

We are probably looking at starting with MSVR SuperCup or 750 Enduro with the IM Racing team.

For now, that is all I can say as the only thing confirmed to date is I have agreed to provide the financial backing for this venture.

Cheers mate!

smile

Edited to actually make sense! biggrin

That's a shame, would have been good to catch up, on the bright side it means I don't have to put a wheel clamp on the car and pay for extra security guards rofl
I take it you are still enjoying your new toy! hehe
