Vanthoor taken 10 seconds out of Weerts in the 72 since their pit stops

Race coming towards Grello and the 98 BMW at the moment

Not sure I buy the oil on track excuse from the cayman / bmw incident, I think he tried ot go around another car, hence was off track.

As above, the #99 got hit again after the initial contact, glad the BMW driver is okay, that must have been pretty scary.

  1. 911 dropped after the first round of stops but appears to have made up for it.
Just started raining again, #98 is inspecting the rear end of the #911

Great racing so far.

Vanthoor now caught the 72, after being 20 seconds behind when they came out

Though I’d say he’s the quickest driver in Grello, overall, and Weerts the slowest in 72

Seems an odd call from Manthey to stay on slicks

Indeed, when you’re at the front, jus5 do what everyone else does, no need for a Hail Mary call, they’ve just lost masses of time, and are still staying out, bonkers

Manthey finally admit they got it wrong and change to wets after a shortened stint.

Great to hear Jochen Van Cauwenberge on the English livestream. Shame the chat there is so toxic, German chat is so much more friendly and relaxed.

David Pittard said it was most likely Vanthoor's choice to stick with the slicks.

Vanthoor might have just lost them the race.

Winner of this session is Stippler in the Audi, moved up the ranks to 3rd and already has stopped.

Did anyone see if the #130 got a penalty for driving in to the Porsche a while back ?

Looked like that Audi killed the engine and the fire started from there

Bon; NFA for #911. What the commentators missed is a waved Green Flag on a marshall post on the left hand side, just as Linde boots it.

Fires are becoming all the rage!

Great race. Shame about the Rowe BMW.

Really enjoying the last few days of the coverage, and a shame the 99 car got taken out.

But, guys, someone own up..... biggrin

130 not called to clerk of the course according to Timing71 so I'm guessing they're calling it a racing incident.

The Audi fire was wild, not often we see that kind of thing these days.

Vanthoor might have won them the race biggrin

Not entirely sure what the Audi S3 driver was trying to do when he was patting out the flames on his four ringed barbecue?
