Especially when scheduled immediately after BTCC races - superb entertainment with the Jordons forging a link between both series thumbup

Organisation into the event was good, although it was Saturday. Parking good.
And how was it out of the event? The one and only time I went to Thruxton parking was neatly marshalled into the venue, but come the end of the day it was a free for all like Mad Max as people made their own and any route with all the cars converging at the gate.

Never went again.

I think thats common at most organised events. It's easy to park people up in nice neat rows gradually as the event start gets closer , but come the end of the day at the end of procedings it's everyman for himself as most drivers will not take instructions from anyone about exiting in an orderly manner

More than happy to have them & the Legends as part of the regular support package. licklick

Do you know something that we don't? I thought the TOCA juniors programme development was well under way.

The last thing that I read was some sort of bespoke chassis with a rear engine.

Why are the tyres the drivers use controlled? Surely, left to the driver discretion, there would be a mix anyway, dependent of their individual choice based on weather conditions? I don't get the organisers desire to interfere with things like this.

I agree. The Mini 7's were excellent, they should bring them in as a part of the package for the whole season.

To try and mix things up a bit so people aren't constantly complaining about race 1 and 2 having the same results. Drivers have the choice of which tyre they want to use but if they finish in the top 10 they have to use the hardest tyre available at the event for the next race.

I thought TIngrams move in race one, was very very clever.

He'd lost the position into the chicane, then turned into Sutton, bounced off him and had to cut across the grass, short cutting the chicane and keeping his lead which he would have otherwise lost. I felt that that was deliberate, and very clever in the heat of the moment battle.

I was surprised how 'matey' the two of them were in the post race interview. Seems like they consider that is the fun of full-contact touring car racing.

Ash knew the only reason he was in that position was because of contact in the previous corner so it all balances out.

Hope it goes better than the Super Touring outing at Donington earlier in the year.
