Fight and Unite against NHTSA
Discussion
Im very annoyed with them. Aren't we all? Let's try and get together, all of us, and consult NHTSA about their harsh legal issues involving TVR, because otherwise theres nothing we can do but wait. Give me some feedback if your in on this, and what you think about the whole idea: how we go about doing it. Peace.

I suppose a petition would be involved? And do we have enough people to make it happen? We would have to use some other means besides pistonheads I think, since there probably aren't enough north americans on this site, of course I havn't checked the numbers, but maybe...
Getting them to ease the regulations for import is fine and all, it will allow all other kinds of cars to be imported besides TVR's, but as far as the TVRs go, even if we could import them, how would we get them serviced?

A petition sounds like a good idea. I have many friends who would sign it who live in Canada, and if we got TVR to make somewhat safer cars, or eased the US into allowing import of them, we could either set up a business with some people on this forum who would be willing to who like in the UK, for parts. If that doesnt work out, we can start right off the bat by showing this petition to TVR and convincing them to set up a dealership and business across the seas here in NA. Again, we need people, so whoever reads this, get in on it and show your out there. This will involve effort, but in the long run, so many of us will be happy.

Don't know about the whole business thing, I think I'd rather let TVR come here on their own, after all, we would still need trained service people to fix major problems.
About the petition to get TVRs attention, I believe Faisal already has his own petition to get TVR to come here on his website the last time I checked.
But in regards to the regulations, YHM
