Has anyone changed one?
Can it be done from under the bonnet by pulling out the tube from the evaporator and the new one pushed/coaxed back in.
If the answer is.... no,it has to be pushed in to the evaporator box from inside the car, is this difficult on a lhd car.
I'm only concerned with getting the pressure bulb in the vicinity of the evaporator as close enough is good enough, it only closes off the hole if the AC gets too cold,(regulates liquid to gas)and that is very unlikely as the cockpit is akin to a sopwith camel.
I am also considering changing the incoming air from the current location at the top of the bonnet to recirculate. comments !
Yes I do take the top off
But want to make it more useable during hot summer months.
