Why do they keep letting the big movie companies use their cars in the U.S?!?!? First it was Swordfish, now its that stupid Looney Tunes movie! And we can't buy the Tuscan here yet! Why do they taunt us?!?!?!?

It isn't so much taunting as the big fat fees they get. If you were Peter Wheeler, wouldn't you take their money?

but they only get the cost of the car, right?
I mean, WB doesn't pay them some big fee to use the cars in the movie right?

I would have thought that TVR would pay for the 'placement' of the car in the film, maybe a free loaner to the film makers.
There are plenty of other marques out there queing up, can't imaging them have to pay to use a car in any film myself.

product placement usually costs the manufacturer a fair amount of money.

swordfish may have been a different story because of the desire for a new and unseen car.

Don't be honked at TVR. I think they are trying to make sure they have the home market happy before they move on to us Yanks. Seems to be a lot of reliability related issues with the Tuscan. Let them get it right--they will and when they do, they'll sell their cars over here. They do want to make money, right?
IS the order book full in TVR land?
