What do you think?

Wish they could price in the $90,000 range so that the Aston wouldn't be quite so compelling...

They have got Tuscan 1 details for the Tuscan S and Tuscan 2 details for the Tuscan S Convertable ??
Must be a mistake because I dont think that they will make 2 models basically the same but with different interiors and some different body panels.

I believe I read somewhere last year that there was actually a move to get limited production cars like the TVR approved for sale in the USA without going through the normal certification BS that large production models have to go through. Part of this was becasue Ferrari and Lambo were trying to get exemptions to the new passenger air bag regulations. This was backed by some as a way to help American exoctic car makers as well.

Fat chance they would ever get that through the car nazis at the Dept of Transportation. Especially with all the tree huggers now screaming global warming.

I tried to import my Chim 450 to California a few years ago and was told to forget it.

Park Place has taken all references to TVR off their website.

Fox Valley Motorcars was on the TVR list as well...

When was the last TVR related press release?

The last time I spoke with Adam Burdette was the day before the SEMA show in Las Vegas, when I called him on his cellphone. After having emailed me a couple of weeks previous to this to assure me that they 'hoped' to have two cars at the show, they never showed and I've not bothered to follow it up.

Some of my TVR friends in the US have spoken to some of the dealers on the list aand it was obvious some time ago that it wasn't going to happen. In fact, Exotic Autos at Caesars Palace, LV, hadn't even heard of TVR when we popped in there and they were down as a dealer too.

Forget TVR, buy a Viper.
