I just bought an '87 390se which I'm bringing to Canada.
It's not on the boat yet, but I am the official new owner
and it's sending chills of excitment down my spine.

Any other canucks with TVR's here?

I'd be really curious to
know the actual number of tvr's in North America compared to
those shown on the TVRCCNA site.

Mike,
We'd all love to know the actual number of TVRs brought to North America but, unfortunately, recordkeeping of such things was never as specific at we would have liked. All we have is guesswork as to how many were b rought over here. But you will have one of the only 390SEs.

I think I just emailed you about getting a copy of the printable pdf application form.
You're the TVRCCNA president yeah? Got a copy of the application so I can get signed up?
Oh yeah, I didn't see any paypal button on the join page even though paypal is mentioned.
What paypal account would I send the fee to if I did it manually?

Mike, Marshall,
For a portion of that info you could call John Wadman in Toronto @ 416-752-7226. John owned JAG Automotive and later TVR North America Limited (which I think is still operating). He was, for a time the North American distributer and is an all round good guy.

Brap Brap,
if you go to www.tvrccna.org you can download a copy of the application and mail it in, or if you simply want to pay via PayPal use "tvrccna@cox.net" as the Pay To address and indicate it is for club membership and supply all the appropriate information and that'll take care of it.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Thanks,
Marshall

Just posting to report a TVR on our side of the pond.

www.flickr.com/photos/sherlock77/252864358/in/set-72157594297021582/

Apparently it's in the local European car show from last year so I'm assuming
it'll be here again this year. I didn't see the car listed in the tvrccna
Canadian region however, so I'll be sure to get the relevent numbers for
archival purposes. I'll be taking my wedge there so I hope the owner of it shows
up again. It's likely an Alberta car because as far as I know, we're the only
place in North America not requiring a tag on the front of the car.

Unfortunately the car show conflicts with BBWF '07. I wanted to take a vacation and
go see that.

Whoo hoo!
I just got notified that my wedge is now safely on Canadian soil
awaiting clearance by customs.

I'm guessing maybe a day or two for customs, then a week or two for
inland shipping. I can't wait! Pics/vids coming soon I hope.
