USA Production Numbers
Discussion
Of the models of TVR which came to the United States, the 2500M came in the largest numbers, however, I doubt you will find anyone with an absolute accurate count as to how many of them came here.
But, of the 947 2500Ms built, probably close to 90% of them were sent to North America.
The second largest number of a single model of TVR was the Tasmin/280i series. Again, no specific numbers are probably available but I am guessing probably 5-600 of them were sent over here.
Hope that helps.

thanks for the info...I should of mentioned that it was the tasmin/280i numbers that I was looking for. I guess most of them were softops. I kind of like the hardtop though. You don't happen to know what the situation is on parts for the tasmin/280i. Would hate to buy one and find out the parts were no where to be found or cost or arm and a leg. cheers.
For the US, there were approximately 3 dozen of the 280i coupes that came in so they are quite rare, in comparison to the convertibles.
As for parts, yes I do know what the parts situation is. In fact, I happen to own the only TVR parts business in the US and have a very good stock of Tasmin/280i parts and am expanding my stock all the time. (see www.cmw-tvr.com)
