Read it yesterday, they were very enthusiastic about it as one might expect.

They said TVR might be coming to the US as early as next year, and that a dealership network was in the process of being arranged.

I'll get the mag. Personally, I'm frustrated by the lack of TVR in the USA news.
Why couldn't TVR do what POrsche has done with their new hot rod? Give us 1,000 orders and we'll make it!
TVR should be able to figure out how many orders they need to break even in the USA. Tell us the number and let's see if there really is the interest we think there really is!

Just went over to their website. Didn't see any mention of TVR. Which issue? February or March?

Picked up the issue at the stands. TVR claims 2004--which has to be encouraging.
Too bad the speedo gave out though...
Wouldn't make any difference to me--I want one!

Finally got a copy of the magazine. Good article.
Hope Ben Samuelson's forecast of coming to the US
is reasonably accurate.
Also, read the February issue of EVO which has an
interview with Peter Wheeler and discussion of the
Speed 12.

I found it. I was encouraged to hear the TVR is still considering the USA.
Maybe Petrolted could give us Yanks an update regarding status.
I also liked the RX-7 article too!

I wish one of you lucky guys to the east of the USA could give us an update regarding TVR's US plans.
The review said next year, but I haven't heard anything in pistonheadsland--or from Petrolted!

Petrolted, does TVR have plans to come back to the USA?

I think I've read somewhere that MG was thinking about buying TVR--which was denied by Peter Wheeler. Is it possible that PW would sell TVR?

I was very excited to see more positive TVR press in the USA. We need the mainstream auto mags such as Autoweek, Car and Driver, and Road & Track to do a TVR feature.
I doubt that Road and Track even knows about PISTONHEADS!

Personally, I'm totally dissatisfied with the mags in the US. I'm not renewing my Sport Car International that used to be good. They're to busy trying to sound cool when they don't know what the heck is going on. Their articles aren't as comprehensive as Evo. R&T is good for broad news usually not found in SCI but R&T had not more than a note when Ultima came out with the GTR. Both these mags neglected to test the Lotus Elise made street legal that Car and Driver tested. Neither has made an effort to test Ginetta or Leading edges cars cars RT190 and RT240. Neither has addressed the strict importing issues in the US car lovers are plaged with. R&T hasn't test TVR either. I give up.

Absolutely right. Just wish the US mags would visit Pistonheads from time to time so that they would know what is really going on in the world of sportscars.

I wish Ginetta was given an airing--European Car did a nice review of the G4 though...
