have you guys seen the chevy v8 conversion in the major mods section.... could this be a route to getting a tuscan on your side of the pond?

ship the car out minus engine & box plus a conversion kit and source the chevy motor and trans locally ?

Doubt if it's that easy.

Do you know of any engine-less LHD cars for sale?

Good idea, but you're not the first to have thought of it

I did try to convice TVR-Malaysia to sell me rolling chassis modded to fit lsx engines for the usa market, but they didnt want to upset blackpool at the time... They should have gone with my idea as now they are no more...

Good idea, although I know Superformance got into a lot of trouble for doing pretty much the same thing. However, Morgan, Ariel, Noble and 1G racing, and a few others seem to be plugging away, so there is definitely potential if it's done right.

As part of their legal arrangement with TVR UK, TVR Malaysia were prohibited from doing anything outside the Asian and Australian markets.

I recently asked about the same thing. Chevy V8s are a dime a dozen. I have no problem driving a RHD car in the US. In fact, I think it only raises the cool factor.
