The TVR Car Club North America will be hosting its annual event, "Out of the Woodwork 2005" this year October 7-9 in New Jersey, USA. This will be the 25th anniversary celebration of the very first "Woodwork" event that was held in 1981.
Our special guest this year will be Martin Lilley to help us mark this milestone and we invite as many of you PH-ers as possible to come join us. We've already had a number of inquiries from overseas about the event and hope to see a good number of you there this year. For those of you who have never been to a "Woodwork" event before, you will see mostly wedges and earlier TVRs since TVR didn't import into the US since 1987. However, some of the later cars come in from Canada for a little variety. The actual car show, which closes out the weekend, will feature TVRs plus many other marques from Austin Healey to Ferrari, etc. If you are interested in attending, contact me at tvrccna@cox.net and I'll provide you with all the details. I hope to see you there.

It wouldn't be the same without you there. After all, you are responsible for setting the groundwork for this year's show!

Will try and get over again .....have just enjoyed a few drives in various TVRs (Inc '93Griffith) around Canada and the prices I am paying for fuel in the US is just fantastic!!

Not looking forward to the fuel ups in France for Le Mans next week!!

Hope you, and others over there, can make it. We're hoping for a large turnout this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first "Out of the Woodwork".
We'll have a number of TVRs that will be fresh out of restorations, and some of them will be attending for the first time so it should be good.

Hey Marshall, should us M series owners have little plaques made for our gloveboxes with a place for a signature?

Well, that is certainly an idea so Martin Lilley will have a place to autograph people's cars.

Why don't we just set up an autograph station for both Martin and Colin and see who can sign the most items?

It's your show and be proud. The odd English failed dealer you can do without, we do!!

Attention TVR fanatics! For those of you who have even given fleeting thought to attending this year's "Out of the Woodwork" sponsored by the TVR Car Club North America, October 7-9, 2005, DON'T DELAY!
In order to give an accurate count to the hotel for banquet reservations, we need to have all reservations IN HAND (not postmarked) no later than September 25th. Also you want to reserve your hotel room while there are still some available. We have people already registered from all across North America and the UK and Europe, who are coming to enjoy a weekend of TVRs with all of us, as well as our special guest Martin Lilley, so don't put it off, go ahead and take care of making your plans NOW! For full registration information, go to the TVRCCNA website at www.tvrccna.org or contact me at tvrccna@cox.net.
We hope to see you there!

Greetings Wim & Wim, nice to hear that my old Tuscan V8 is keeping you both happy

Maybe if you come to Woodwork again, you'll leave your Dutch weather behind?

Wim and Wim,
Thanks to both of you for coming to Woodwork 2005. It was a pleasure to have both of you there and I'm glad you enjoyed the festivities.
It turned out to be a good weekend, despite all the rain and we had some great cars there.
Do come visit us again in the future and I look forward to seeing your photos.

Marshall
