and.....Did any 280s change hands at Woodwork?

Have they changed? I'm trying to sell mine at the moment. I priced it to where the market seems to be but I'm very flexible.

Well over the years they have dropped considerably, not too many years ago a decent 280 was over 10K.

I think 5k is a more realistic price today.

There is a gold 280 currently on Ebay for $8.5K, advertised as an 85, but looks like an early 84.
No bids, not surprising.

Mine needs a re-spray, clearcoat has gone in places, so needs prep too. Don't really want to stick 3K into it just to sell it for 4.

I wish I'd kept those "if ever you want sell it" telephone numbers

Sold mine for $6200. I consider it to be a bargain, if I'd been in NY or NJ I think I'd have got more. Sold it to a nice chap in FL.
