Anyone recommend shocks for 2500m?
Discussion
I have a 77 2500M that I use for hard road use and autoslalom in Cda. I have motor out for freshening and taking body off so can check frame and also replace all bushings with poly....can anyone recommend a good adjustable shock that DOESN'T cost as much as the car that would be good for the use's I have? Anyone know of any available this side of the Atlantic?

On this side of the pond, LEDA shocks are reckoned to be the best value for money (circa $160 ea) for adjustable spring platform and damping. Cheaper (and not quite as good) are AVO shocks, which in turn are better than the original Monroe units
Adrian Venn at Exactly-TVR can supply you with the LEDAs or the AVOs and springs to suit, and with the poly bushes at three different grades of hardness. Email: adrian@exactly-tvr.demon.co.uk or visit www.exactly-tvr.demon.co.uk for details.
On your side of the pond, JEGS had some more expensive Konis which are the right dimensions (rose-jointed each end) but only come in their drag-racing spec which will require re-valving to suit the springs. These are serious competition units though. Not sure if they're still available.
