Hi,
Not sure what to call it but I have just acquired a 1975 1600M fitted with RV8 engine and box.
Is it a V8M or 4000M?
The original conversion is documented on M-Fix (Clifford Knight) but now upgraded from 3.5 to a V8 Developments 4ltr engine.
This post is just to prepare you for the endless questions likely to follow.
First impressions of the M are very good, just need to get used to the low ratio steering rack (compared to previous Wedge) and decide where to park my left foot when not on the clutch.

Hi,
I know this is a very old thread but if the current owner of this 1600/3500/4000 M is still interested I am the person that built this car. If you have any questions I will try to answer them. Also if whoever owns the car is interested in selling, depending on the condition, I may be interested.
I am currently reduced to a mildly tuned 3000M which until Covid was used quite successfully on Classic rallies here in Greece and Italy. It is no match for my old V8 special.
