I hate to ask this here, but what are peoples opinions of the Tvr-car-club.co.uk with regards to classics?
Is the forum as busy as this one? Is there lots of information inside that would benefit a classic owner/restorer?
Im such a tight cretin that the £50 membership fee seems a bit steep...

TVRCC is more of a social club - if you're near an active region it can be good. Some regions can be very Chimeara/Tuscan fixated - but don't let that put you off
The fee also reduces in future years. A few on the committee have M series cars.
The forums are smaller, but the M series is separate from the Pre M cars.
There are some knowledgable people about - but some are also here and some are here and not there.
There are sometimes good M series articles in the club gloss magazine - Sprint.
If you want classic TVR forum action then try some of the yahoo groups,
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/TVR_Pre1980/ and
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/usa-tvr/
where there are more usa owners. (lots of 2500Ms!)
Although one can view online, I'm not sure how to split out into threads, so a bit user hostile.
