Vixen S3 finally finished
Discussion
Hi Niel
yes lots of water under the Bridge especially up here in Scotland . What stage has your replica reached ?- saw the paint job and Shell on Spadges site.
Really pleased with my result - was looking for something that I could drive on the street and not look out of place so a race car wasnt really on . The rear window I got from you is fine and was ok to go in, the front took some extra effort. But all the finishing inside , trims etc etc - I can understand why a race interior is much more appealling.
OH by the way a tech tip - used Durex fun lube - (raspberry flavour) to 'ease' the window seals in works a treat ... tastes better than fairy liquid too ....
James - paint was done by David Gray at Lakefied classics Kingussie - still has to go back there for a final 'polish' the finish at moment which is really good is just straight from the 'gun' .
How do you add photos to this site ?
