The fuel guage in my Taimar works well in as much as, when I put petrol in the needle goes up, when I drive the needle goes down.
If I fill it to the top, the fuel guage reads 3/4 full, now, does this mean that
a)The tank will be empty at 1/4 full
b)When reading empty there is quarter of a tank left
c)none of the above

I've never let it go below a 1/4 tank just in case, I'm tempted to run it until it's empty and carry a can of petrol around so I can see where the needle is, I'm just worried it runs out while I'm in traffic or miles from a petrol station.

Thanks Ian, I remember your car from BNG and Pre-80's meetings, it's a real credit to you clap
