What color were the Grantura engines?
Discussion
What color were the original engines in the Grantura Mk III/IV?
The engine in my 1967 1800S Mk IV has been replaced and I want to paint it in the original color.
Btw. The replacement engine is actually a Volvo B18 with Volvo M41 transmission (the same as in Marcos 1800GT). It is bored out to 2-litres, equipped with two Dellorto 45 and producing about 170 hp.

Not 100% certain, so don't quote me. I would summise though that BMC Green would be the most obvious colour. It can be bought in engine enamel from Frosts. The engine in my 1967 1800S Mk IV has been replaced and I want to paint it in the original color.
