I bet you are really peeing off a few TVR purists though!
I thought about a light conversion like that as I think the standard lights on a late M/Taimar let the styling down.
Rear end shape just wont allow for any ban the bomb type lights though, wrong era too.
The bumpers are pretty much a waste of time too so should be binned. I might just give it a go too (copycat!)

yes jasper ,that was me ,!!!
that was a funny situation ,all these immac m,s in a row ,and my low black gnarly item at the end getting a bit more attention than it desrves ,thats a long time ago ... that was when i was running the 2 gearboxes and worked out from the gearing it was doing 165 mph on the way (of course i must have worked it out wrong and it was actually doing 72 mph officer)
it was very amusing when a plate on the bonnet id fixed on with velcro shot off dead vertically from just in front of the screen ,and i and my witness/freind looked at each other like the blues brothers after just missing that cyclist .hhehehe

Thats right, I had some pictures off it but I gave all my M series pics to SuperSpark (Glyn). I'm sure he might be able to dig some out and post them.
Glyn it was the black car with YOB in the registration plate with alloy rear wheel covers probably parked next to my Taimar or a candy apple Griff 4.3

Hi Rob - I'd love to see some pictures of your car, but can't view them in the thread for some reason. Any chance you could E-mail me some (inc. engine bay) I'm still constructing the body shape of my Taimar for some wide rubber....
I take it it wasn't a Turbo originally then....
Stuart.

Originally this car was built to go drag racing, I remember seeing it with two turbos (and two gearboxes!!)in the early 90's. It has also been developed by one man in his spare time.
I am though intrigued to know why you should think that it will understeer in a big way (although corners are not a requiement for a Drag Racer), the RV8 with all those ancillaries and the 'crap' battery location would still weigh considerably less than the all iron Essex engine or a Triumph 2500 engine, therfore it should change direction reasonably well.
