Modified 1966 Griffith Series 400 crazy 600hp
Discussion
ok, not nice in some ways, although it has some good things, yes the 600hp thats crazy lol.
but I mean, that rear window can be opened, thats nice I think, also the 2 little rear/side windows, not bad.
also like some of the bodywork things, but also a lot not, hah.
all in all a Monster Griffith, many pictures on the side, here just a few.
way more here and some video with stationair sound, it sounds loud, even with the DB killers supertrap in the exhausts.

I remember, from the last time this car came up, that the owner has limited strength/use of his left leg. That explains the automatic trans.
I don't understand the solution for an opening rear hatch. Could have been done just like the Taimar, and not lost what I consider to be one of the most pleasing features of TVRs in this era, the rear glass.
The front end -Interesting wheel arch treatment. Hideous middle section. Reminds me of the Haynes hillclimb car.
Nevertheless, I hope that the owner gets to enjoy it. The performance must be thrilling.

$55k finishing bid - reserve not met.
thats way to low I guess, a lot of money went in, maybe even 150k+? I guess only a very small market for such monster TVR, even the original Griffith has a small market, but loved, a market for this one is way smaller , but I guess its about 85k for one who likes power and strangeness?
maybe a wrong week to sell or les good times since a lot cars went lower?
I wonder how it drives with that much power, but also a lot made different, so maybe it feels ok and can handle it if you tiptoe
