Hi.

Trouble getting comfy in my 3000S. Steering wheel is aftermarket 13” semi dished Mounteney. Distance from rear of wheel to stalks us 90mm.

I can get a 14” flat Mounteney which bolts straight in, moves wheel to 65mm from the stalks.

Can someone please measure standard clearance? Later M or S with horn on the stalk.

Anyone have an original wheel and boss? Or a known solution?

Thx

Hi Nic,
I have original steering wheel on my 1976 3000M and also on my 1978 3000S.
What info are you looking for.

The Spokes are flat with just bent up/back for the thumb spats.
The Spokes are fixed to the bottom of the Wheel Hub.

Thanks. I was thinking of the distance to reach the indicator stalk. Mine is nearly 4” so a stretch.

Best

The Indicater Stalk is close to rim of wheel so you can keep hand on the wheel. Same for the horn.
It also means your arms are not too bent for comfortable driving.

Thx. I think a flat 14” mountney will do. For now. Closer.
