I appreciate it’s a long shot but whilst looking through some old photos at my mums house I came across a picture of my late fathers TVR.

I can’t see anything on the MOT history site so assume it’s long gone but thought I’d ask anyway just incase anyone could tell me anything about it.

Great picture. Never seen this so far!

I assume it is a Mk 1, but might be wrong. Quarter lights to open, no parking lights and I would guess no bulge above the rear wheel arche. Finally the number plate is very early.

I do not see any car with that plate in the registry, but they are listed according to their chassis numbers.

Hi, do you have any more photo's of it, perhaps a rear view or under bonnet/interior shots. They might help ID which type of Grantura it was. Also "K" is a Liverpool registration, it might be worth getting in touch with the Liverpool archives as they might still have records of its initial registration info. Its not a Grantura i have any records of

Thanks for the replies

I'll have to have a look at what else I can find in the family photos to see if there's any more.

I think I safely say that Dad is where I got the love of cars from, found pictures of him co-driving a mk2 escort rally car, having a go at banger racing along with lots of photos from the IOM TT in the 70's.
