Great picture. Never seen this so far!
I assume it is a Mk 1, but might be wrong. Quarter lights to open, no parking lights and I would guess no bulge above the rear wheel arche. Finally the number plate is very early.
I do not see any car with that plate in the registry, but they are listed according to their chassis numbers.

Hi, do you have any more photo's of it, perhaps a rear view or under bonnet/interior shots. They might help ID which type of Grantura it was. Also "K" is a Liverpool registration, it might be worth getting in touch with the Liverpool archives as they might still have records of its initial registration info. Its not a Grantura i have any records of

I'll have to have a look at what else I can find in the family photos to see if there's any more.
I think I safely say that Dad is where I got the love of cars from, found pictures of him co-driving a mk2 escort rally car, having a go at banger racing along with lots of photos from the IOM TT in the 70's.
