Vixen Fuel Sender

Has anyone found a sender that works as a direct replacement ? The old part no (AC) 67460 became something like 7967460 used on Bedfords but is long out of stock and little or no hope of finding one beyond a miracle. There must surely be an alternative, even one that needs bending or has a return pipe on it that can easily be blanked off.
