Vixen rack question

Hi, apologies to those who use the TVR club forum, as repeating myself.

Rebuilt my rack, new paint, boots, regreased. But, has centre point bump, it has worn in the centre quite badly and can’t be repaired (I believe?).

If I am buying a new rack, is there any wisdom, spitfire I know, high geared? Or any revelations in bump steer fixed by alternative?

I think you will find the standard rack is based on a Spitfire unit but TVR made some mod's to the length of the steering arms to suit the Vixen. To be sure you're best to speak with one of the TVR Guru's for advice.

Re bump steer, I don't think that can be cured by changes to the rack alone. You will also need to modify mounting points. Again any of the TVR Guru's should be able to advise.
