Just came across this little TVR Grantura mk1 racer with FIA pass, no idea what number, RHD

Lovely! And a relative bargain compared to the barn find that’s just sold on eBay for £7k

At £40,000 the question is can the basket case at £7,000 be turned into a racer for £33,000.

I don’t think you’d get much change from £33k if you had to pay someone to restore the £7k as a period racer. I guess it depends what value you put on the FIA approval/provenance.

According to the papers pictured ( last pic) it is 7C200 and not in the Grantura registry so far.

The papers mention an engine capacity of 1588, which is more than any Coventry Clinax engine. So it seems there has been another MGA engine installed later.

Its not 7/C/200, that paperwork is from another car. Its 7/B/117 and originally had a 1588cc MG engine
