Alloy rocker cover grommet for pcv

Hi ,taimar bought with alloy rocker covers fitted .Noticed pcv valve grommet was split .Bought new one for essex engine but has split already .Rocker cover thicker than steel version .Has anyone sourced a grommet that will fit alloy version ,or is another option to mill area thinner to accept original ?
